Meet Pastor Greg!

Pastor Greg Hill has been involved in Calvary Chapel ministries across the country for over 38 years. Having been raised in a broken home, getting involved in the drug and party scene of the 70’s, and then experiencing the pain of those choices, his radical conversion to Christ has been a testimony of God’s healing and forgiveness to all who know him.

Since surrendering his life to Jesus, Greg has been busy in Christian service! He was among one of the first graduating classes of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa’s School of Ministry in 1992. Since that time, he has planted and pastored several Calvary Chapel churches, conducted numerous home Bible studies, and led large groups of believers on missionary adventures. Using the skills with which God equipped him, he has been involved in and led many construction projects, including serving as Director of Log Building at Calvary Chapel Youth Camp and helping to rebuild the homes of victims of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Greg and his wife Kathy moved to the Upstate of SC in 2006, where he began teaching the Word of God in home Bible studies. These home groups grew, and Calvary Chapel Greenville was born.

Greg and Kathy have five grown children and two grandchildren. Their deepest desire is to be used by God “for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
